Pork & Shrimp Potstickers

POTSTICKERRRRRRS. Who doesn’t love potstickers?

But, I’ll tell you…these aren’t anything you’ve ever had before! They’re PACKED with ginger (I’m sorry, ginger haters, but the good news is, you can omit the ingredient if you desire), and fresh ingredients.

My favorite way to serve these would be by pan-frying them. I’ll even share with you my tangy dipping sauce!

What you’ll need:

1 lb ground pork

1 lb imitation crab (or shrimp if you wanna get boujie)

1 bag coleslaw veggies

1 egg

2 tbsp sesame oil

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/3 cup finely chopped ginger

1 handful of Glass noodles aka bean thread (crystal noodles)

salt

black pepper

dash of sugar

dash of soy sauce

3 packs of wonton/potsticker wrappers (circular) You can find these in the refrigerated section by the tofu and vegan stuff at the grocery store.

**** In a bowl, put glass noodles and let them soak for at least 20 minutes to rehydrate****

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add pork, imitation crab (or ground shrimp), chopped green onions, glass noodles ( chop em up) ginger, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, egg, sugar, soy sauce, and coleslaw mix together. Mix well and set aside.

  2. Get a small cup of water for wrappers

  3. Scoop a small amount of filling onto wonton wrapper and fold it however you’d like.

  4. In a skillet pan, add oil and set potstickers in. Add water and cover (this will create a steaming effect). Once the water has evaporated, use chopsticks or tongs to flip each potsticker and cook until golden brown.
